    I live in Menlo Park,CA. I’ve reserved your lovely book, which I just got from the PA Library, at Kepler’s. I’m just 77 and was a student in NYU’s 1st Jr. Yr.
    in Spain (1958-59). I was 20 & Spain was the most formative year of my
    adult life. I will be in Granada in Oct, but at the end of a R. Scholar trip;
    so I won’t be very free there. I would love to meet you & talk Spain some
    time when you are in town here. Please reply; I am not a crank.

      Dear Toni,

      Thank you for the comment you left on Steven’s website. I’m TERRIBLY sorry it’s taken us so long to respond. Please know it’s not Steven’s fault, it’s mine. I’m an amateur webmaster and just today saw your comment from a year ago. In any case, I’ve forwarded it to Steven, who will be delighted by it. So glad you enjoyed GRANADA (his latest book was just released this week!). I just took four teenage girls to Spain in August and hope it will prove to be as formative for them as your trip to Spain was for you. It’s such a lovely, fascinating country and culture. I can’t stop thinking about all the beauties we saw there and hope to go back soon!

    Great website presentation of Steve’s work and reference material. His interview with Alan Chartock could be turned into a miniseries……

    Thank you,
    Tom
